Is your holiday decor feeling a little been-there-done-that? Inject a little jazz using containers you already have and filling them with new and fresh combinations of holiday items. You could….

Fill a clay pot (or several) with greenery and candles.  Corralling the containers in a wire milk crate only adds to the charm. Organic, merry and bright!

Or fill a wooden tray with natural elements like greenery, pine cones, burlap and twine.  Add a touch of sparkle with mercury glass and shiny ornaments.

Fill a large crock (or galvanized bucket) with birch logs, pine branches, berry boughs and twinkle lights. Or set a live small tree in the crock or pail and decorate with popcorn and cranberries.  Make a family tradition of planting it in the yard after the holidays!

Fill a glass cloche with anything: tiny lighted houses, churches or creches, miniature Christmas trees, snow and deer, or glass ornaments and tiny lights.
